Chaitu Malempati completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Michigan State University in 2015. He then completed a sports medicine fellowship at the University of Kentucky in 2016. Shortly after, he joined as faculty at the University of Kentucky Orthopedic Surgery & Sports Medicine department. He is currently an associate professor in the department and primarily practices in Bowling Green, KY. Also, he serves as head team physician and medical directot at Western Kentucky University and directly works with the football and women's soccer teams. He has published numerous papers and is actively involved in education and clinical trials. Additionally, he has given various talks worldwide at several national and international orthopedic meetings. He currently serves on committees of the AOSSM, AANA and SOA.
