Ami Kapadia, MD, is a fourth-year orthopaedic surgery resident at George Washington University. Originally from New York and Texas, she completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Texas at Austin and earned her medical degree from UT Southwestern Medical Center. She plans to pursue a sports medicine fellowship in 2027. Her research focuses on sports-related injuries and global orthopaedics, with work presented nationally and published in The Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery and Journal of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. In her free time, she enjoys playing recreational sports and watching international soccer.
