Andrea Palazzolo Ray, MD PhD is a PGY5 resident physician at Indiana University persuing a fellowship in orthopedic sports medicine. She completed her MD, PhD at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2022 with a PhD in Organic Chemistry under the direction of Martin Burke MD PhD on the development of an automated synthesis platform. Her work from her PhD is published in Science and Nature. She then transitioned to Indiana University for Orthopedic Surgery Residency and has been involved in research under the direction of Joshua Everhart MD on hip arthroscopy including the project being presented today.
