Daryl C. Osbahr, MD, is an Orthopaedic Sports Medicine Surgeon that serves as President & Chairman of Orthopaedic Surgery for Rothman Orthopaedics Florida, Chairman & Executive Medical Director of the AdventHealth Orthopedic Institute, and Chairman of Orthopedic Surgery of AdventHealth Orlando. He was also the Founding & Emeritus Program Director for the AdventHealth Florida Orthopedic Surgery Residency Program. Dr. Osbahr is the Co-Chief Medical Officer for USA Baseball, Co-Medical Director for United States Tennis Association National Campus, Medical Director for the Junior Tennis Champions Center, and Medical Director for the PNC Golf Championship. He is also a Team Physician and/or Orthopaedic Consultant for the US Soccer Men’s National Team, Orlando Magic, World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), Stetson University, Philadelphia Phillies, Professional Golf Association (PGA), and Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA). Dr. Osbahr has received several prestigious awards and grants, including the AOSSM O’Donoghue Sports Injury Research Award, and has authored over 100 articles and chapters. He serves on committees in numerous prestigious orthopaedic and sports medicine societies, including AOSSM, ASES, AANA, AOA, AAOS, and the FOS. Dr. Osbahr is intricately involved in national and local educational initiatives dealing with the prevention of youth and adult sports injuries, including serving on the USA Baseball Medical & Safety Committee and USTA Sports Science Committee as well as the former Chair for the education and outreach committee for the nationally recognized STOP Sports Injuries Campaign. Dr. Osbahr also works on a grassroots level to advocate for safety and prevention of youth athletes through his role as Past President and current Board of Directors for the Florida Alliance for Sports Medicine (FASMed), and member and former Vice Chair of the Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA) Sports Medicine Advisory Committee.
