Dr. Lance E. LeClere, CAPT MC USNR is a Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery, Sports Medicine Surgical Fellowship Director, and Associate Sports Medicine Division Chief at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, Head Orthopaedic Surgeon for the Tennessee Titans, and Medical Director and Head Team Physician for the Nashville Predators Hockey Club. He is currently a member of the Board of Directors for the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine. Lance served 15 years on Active Duty in the Navy before transitioning to the Reserves and staring at Vanderbilt in 2021. From 2012 to 2015 he served as the Orthopaedic Consultant to the US Navy West Coast SEAL Teams and BUDs, was Director of Orthopaedic Research, and Assistant Orthopaedic Surgery Residency Program Director at Naval Medical Center San Diego. From 2015 to 2021 he was stationed at the US Naval Academy and was the Head Team Physician for Naval Academy Varsity Athletics, as well as an Orthopaedic Consultant for the White House Medical Unit and the Attending Physician for the US Capitol.
