Dr. Cassandra A. Lee, MD, is an orthopaedic sports medicine surgeon with Sutter Medical Group in Sacramento, CA, and serves as an Associate Team physician for the Sacramento Kings. She is a former professor and Chief of Orthopaedic Sports Medicine at UC Davis Health. She graduated with her BA/MD from Boston University, completed orthopaedic residency at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, followed by fellowship training in sports medicine at Washington University in St. Louis. Dr. Lee's clinical expertise and research interests cener on advanced joint preservation strategies, focusing on biologic therapies and translational approachs to modulate post-traumatic osteoathritis.
