Jack Paradis, BA, is a third-year medical student at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Before beginning medical school, he played collegiate football at Augustana University (SD), where his interest in orthopaedics began. His research interests include biomechanics, specifically of the knee, along with the relationship between hormones and the musculoskeletal system. Outside of his academic responsibilities, Jack serves as the Vice President of his school's Orthopaedic Surgery Interest Group and enjoys weightlifting, fishing, and watching college football. After medical school, Jack hopes to pursue a career in academic orthopaedic surgery.
