Taylor Calibo, BS, MSc, is a fourth year medical student at the University of Florida, a former U.S. Navy submarine officer, and a research fellow at the Steadman Philippon Research Institute in Vail, Colorado. His research focuses on orthopaedic sports medicine and cadaveric biomechanics, with recent work involving shoulder instability, rotator cuff repair, meniscal injury, ACL reconstruction, and foot and ankle fixation. A 2023 Tillman Scholar, Taylor brings a background in military leadership, engineering, to his pursuit of a career in orthopaedic surgery and sports medicine.
