Tim Nicolello, MS, ATC, is a healthcare leader with more than 15 years of experience in sports medicine, orthopedic practice operations, and clinical program development. He spent over 13 years with St. Luke's Health System in Idaho, where he served in a variety of athletic training, orthopedic, and leadership roles supporting physicians, surgeons, and multidisciplinary care teams. Throughout his career, Tim has been passionate about optimizing patient care delivery, improving clinical efficiency, and advancing the role of athletic trainers within physician practices.
Tim most recently served as President of the Athletic Trainers in the Physician Practice Society (ATPPS), where he helped advance initiatives focused on professional development, physician practice integration, and demonstrating the value of athletic trainers across the healthcare continuum. Through ATPPS, he has worked with clinicians and healthcare leaders nationwide to promote innovative care models that improve both patient outcomes and operational performance.
Today, Tim serves as the Director of Network and Program Development for Össur Partnership Services (OPS), where he leads national programs supporting independent orthotic and prosthetic practices across the United States. His work focuses on collaboration, outcomes, business development, and helping healthcare organizations implement strategies that enhance both the patient and provider experience.
