Dr. Bishop is a fellowship-trained, board-certified orthopaedic surgeon specializing in sports-related injuries of the knee, shoulder, and elbow at Rothman Orthopaedic Inistitute. She serves as Head Team Physician for Drexel University Athletics and Assistant Team Physician for the Philadelphia Phillies. She completed her orthopaedic surgery residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and a fellowship in Sports Medicine and Shoulder Surgery at the Hospital for Special Surgery. Dr. Bishop has a special interest in ACL injuries, patellofemoral instability, and the female athlete, and remains active in research, with over 50 peer-reviewed publications. She serves as the chair of the Early Career Member Committee for AOSSM and on the Editorial Boards for AJSM and VJSM.
