Dr. Elizabeth Dennis is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with a specialty in sports medicine surgery. She completed her medical school and residency training in Orthopedic Surgery at Columbia University followed by a fellowship in Sports Medicine and Shoulder Surgery at The Hospital for Special Surgery. Dr. Dennis also holds a Master’s Degree in Medical Physics from Columbia University School of Engineering and Applied Science.
During her fellowship training, Dr. Dennis served as part of the medical team for the New York Rangers (NHL), New York Mets (MLB) and the Brooklyn Cyclones (MiLB). She currently serves as a player physician for the US OPEN Tennis Championships and is an Assistant Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.
Dr. Dennis has a special interest is in patellofemoral research, work that she has published in peer reviewed journals and presented at the national and international level. Dr. Dennis was the ISAKOS and Patellofemoral Foundation Traveling Fellow 2023-2025. She is also a member of the JUPITER (Justifying Patellar Instability Treatment by Early Results) Multicenter Study Group.
