Michael T. Freehill, M.D. is an Associate Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery and Chief of Shoulder & Elbow Surgery at Stanford University. Dr. Freehill is a former professional baseball player who spent two years on the Major League 40-Man Roster. He is currently the Head Team Physician for the Athletics Major League Baseball Organization, the Stanford baseball team, and the Executive Director of the Stanford Baseball Science Core. Dr. Freehill is also an Associate Editor for the American Journal of Sports Medicine and a member of the MLB Research Committee.
