Baris Kocaoglu is Professor of orthopaedics and sports medicine at Acibadem University Faculty of Medicine, Istanbul Turkey. His current duties are; Editor of ESSKA Academy, Associate editor of KSSTA journal and chair of KSSTA Rising star program. He made his sports medicine fellowship at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinic, Iowa City, USA between 2006-2007. He finished ESSKA-AOSSM Travelling fellowship at 2019. He worked as a chair of ESSKA U-45 Committee at 2020-2022 period. He was faculty member of many the cadaver courses, national and international meetings at Sports medicine field. He has 105 SCI and SCI-ex indexed publications. He has 12 international book chapters on Sports injuries field. He is also the leading editor of ESSKA books; ‘Musculoskeletal injection manual; Basics, techniques, and injectable agents’, ‘Basketball sports medicine and science’ and ‘How to present a scientific study’.
