Hospital for Special Surgery
Robert Marx, MD, is Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at Weill Cornell Medical College, Chief of the Knee Division of the Sports Medicine Institute and Vice Chair of Orthopedic Surgery for Faculty Development at the Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS).
Dr. Marx has contributed over 350 peer-reviewed articles and authored six books. In addition to his research, he contributes to the editorial process as a Senior Associate Editor for the HSS Journal: The Musculoskeletal Journal of Hospital for Special Surgery.
Dr. Marx currently serves as the First Vice President of the International Society of Arthroscopy, Knee Surgery, and Orthopedic Sports Medicine (ISAKOS) and is the President-elect for the 2027-2029 term. He is also the Head Consulting Orthopedic Surgeon for the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) and The Juilliard School, and serves as a Team Physician for the New York Rangers.
