The Steadman Clinic
Dr. Lucy Meyer is an orthopaedic sports medicine fellow at The Steadman Clinic in Vail, Colorado after completing her orthopaedic surgery residency at Duke University. She earned her medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine and her undergraduate degree in Human Biology from Stanford University, where she was a Division I gymnast.
Dr. Meyer has a strong academic focus on sports medicine, with research interests including cartilage restoration, shoulder and knee pathology, and return-to-play outcomes. She has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and book chapters and has contributed to multiple international consensus statements on knee cartilage injuries.
Clinically, she has served as a team physician for collegiate and high school athletes, including Duke University football, basketball, and volleyball programs. She is an active member of AOSSM and other national orthopaedic societies.
